Robin Ng

Robin joined the Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE), Université catholique de Louvain, as a Ph.D candidate in economics in 2019. His research applies behavioural economics concepts to traditional models of industrial organisation to study phenomena in the digital economy. His dissertation uses a combination of theory and experiments to understand online rating systems, addressing when, why, and how people choose to rate and use ratings. In other work, he also studies innovation in the digital economy.

Robin is currently a FNRS research fellow, and a SSRC graduate research fellow. In 2023, he will join the Platform Economics group at the University of Mannehim as a postdoctoral research fellow.
